It’s a fallacy that nutrition has to be boring and bland to be healthy or to shred body fat. I wrote this sports recipe book to prove that, can’t tell you how frustrated I was eating tuna and rice all day! Tasty nutrition, which is easy to prepare will produce optimal results.

Athletes have to start somewhere and we were all beginners once.  A beginner who has the most knowledge and is willing to train to be the best, will transform into a competitive athlete.

Most of the time food combo’s and diet regimes used traditionally in sports are very unsafe. Stripping diets typically cut out food groups, starve you to death, and deplete you of carbs leaving you with pathetic training results and worse still like a dead zombie on comp day. They do not produce the best results for competition.

Knowing which supplements to take is also very confusing. Often athletes are taking lethal combinations of supplements and getting nowhere fast! Just wasting a lot of money and time. I developed this book to help my sporting clients put together quick nutritious meals and get their supplementation right, that will help them become warriors in their own sport.     Recipes For the Weekend Warrior – The introduction is amazingly thorough, helping you to calculate your basal metabolic rate and energy expenditure depending on your individual factors and activity levels. All recipes can be modified depending on your goals (weight loss, mass gain, sport), which is one of the most useful features I’ve ever seen incorporated into a recipe book.

    All that aside, the recipes are simply delicous! As a professional myself with clients who require nutritional programming, I saw so much value in the Weekend Warrior cookbook after purchasing it for myself that I went ahead and pre-ordered copies for all of my clients. I consider it a staple in my nutritional approach in my own life and with all of my clients, and I strongly recommend it!
