I was in the supermarket and saw this gourmet orange toasted granola cereal that looked divine. Naturally I had to try it. Granola yogurt is a favourite choice of mine in summer when I’m out near the ocean. A beautiful looking yogurt will always entice me more than an ice cream!
If you want to be creative like me, save some old glass jars (wash them throughly) and create your art work. You can also use any fruit or granola muesli you like. Just layer the ingredients and off you go. Some of my other favourite combinations are strawberries, blueberries, walnuts, pear and apple. This granola yogurt is easy peasy funky mid morning snack!
Ingredients- Serves 2
- 1/2 ripe pineapple
- 200ml vanilla yogurt
- 30g chopped almonds
- 1/2 cup granola
Layer ingredients into a jar or cup and serve chilled. Remember this can be modified using any fruit you like, any flavour yogurt you like. The recipe modifications are endless! This pineapple granola recipe needs to be served chilled and it feeds two people.
